It looks like a Malva to me! related to the common mallow.

I think it's Malva Sylvestris - Common Mallow.

Quick draw McGraw me, pg! Isn't the common mallow usually pink? This one looks like Zebrina, I sowed some this year and they're supposed to be stripy but a lot are plain purple.

I knew that! But I'm surrounded by small children (help me...) so I'm not allowed near a computer. Must be self sown. Very pretty though. Have you ever grown Musk Mallow? That's pale and pretty too.

Its growing next to the shed, near but not in the flower bed and I was hoping to have the bed full of it next year...guess theres nothing for it, Ill have to create a bed round it so it doesnt get walked on................... never grown musk mallow , Ill google that.BTW my pond on the lottie got a new tenant. create
