Another thing for whitefly is a piece of yellow plastic or board covered with any sticky substance. Here we have something called "TANGLEFOOT." Attach it to a stick and set the stick in the ground so the yellow board is vertical.. The colour attracts the whitefly and they are stuck! Dispose of and replace with new yellow board as needed.
This is VERY effective and safe for the enviornment.

I'm not too keen on the sticky yellow boards after finding hover flies stuck to them
