It was such a lovely day on Saturday that Mr beejay & myself took ourselves off to Savill Gardens just outside Windsor. It has been a couple of years since we were last there & that was a winter trip. Since then they have built a fantastic new visitors centre (1st photos) & a lovely Jubilee garden. It was fantastic, although the weather helped. Although the hydrangeas were mostly past their best they still looked fantastic, especially Pink Diamond pictured. There are areas for each season, although the autumn colour had not really got off the ground. There were loads of roses still out & lots of plants looking fabulous. There was also an area full of loads of ferns & logs but the pictures weren't good as it was too dark. Hope you enjoy the photos: s29.photobucket.com/albums/c273/beejaytee/Savill%20Gardens%20Oct%202006/?start=all

Oh that looks like a lovely place to visit - beautiful photos Beejay. The roof on that building is very attractive but I was rather taken by that tall narrow upright water feature. Thanks for sharing Beejay! Px

Thanks Plocket. The building is very attractive & I thought the fountain was lovely. At one point a breeze blew the water drops slightly away from the feature & it all looked as though it was twirling round. Far out man!
