We are turning a bit of the churchyard into a meadow, well, we let the grass grow, lots of flowers came through so we thought we would go with it. Last nights GW suggested reducing the vigorous grass by seeding with Yellow Rattle, any ideas where I can get the seed

I'll modify this a bit, a clever ad popped up above this message offering wild flower seeds but I dont need 100 gms more like a pinch, it isn't a field, so the question still stands. The ads are as clever as Google though!!

Evening, The ads are spooky - how do they know? Anyway I buy a lot of seeds from www.suffolkherbs.com. They sell yellow rattle in normal packet size 99p per pkt . They are a really good company and their catalogue is wondrous. I would recommend them.

You can also get it from Secret Seeds. www.secretseeds.com/The best way to use it is to dig uo a few turves (seed tray size) and place into a seed tray, then make tiny holes and push the yellow rattle seed down so it is in contact with the grass roots (about 6-8 seeds to a turve. You can then cut the turve into chunks and plant back into the rest of the grass.

Many thanks folks, sending off for the seeds today & I'm grateful for the advice, do you think it would be useful to have a useful address board anyone?? Thanks Dee too, that sounds an excellent way of dealing of some of our other seeds too.
