We pruned and re-potted a plant the other week, it was looking a bit lifeless, the leaves were dropping off and wilting,
So a big deeper pot was got replanted it, took off all the dead looking leaves, the old wilted flowers and thought nothing of it.
As thought, just needed a bigger plot and room to grow, as new fresh leaves started to appear almost immediately.
This was a couple of weekends ago, and yesterday when we had some sunshine, we opened up the greenhouse, first time in a couple of days, (check the pics gallery to see what i mean as a greenhouse)
low and behold two new flowers had appeared
;D ;D ;D
Is this unusally or is it a common occurance, when it was in full bloom early july, it was covered in flowers.
Sorry i can not remember the name. so i understand that this could be dependant on type also.
Thanks
Pete

HI CG,
After a while plants can become 'pot bound' which effectively means that they have used up all of the available space and nutrients in the pot.
Your plant probably thought it was Christmas when you gave it a new pot. ;D
