I'm so excited ;D Just after we moved into our new house I took my two little trunky's (6 and 7) round the garden and we collected lots of seeds from the various plants around the place. We put them (all mixed up ) in a bowl together and left them to it in the greenhouse, two weekends ago we planted them up into seed pots and left them in the greenhouse, lo and behold they've started sprouting, we're so excited, I didn't expect anything to come of them! Who's knows what they are though ;D will be a nice surprise when and if they flower. Oh, and I also found lots of Alpine Strawberry plantss dotted all over the place in the side beds under bushes, can't wait to get out there this weekend so see what else I find

New gardens are always exciting, I agree, as you just don't know what will appear. I have been told that it is a good idea not to do much in a new garden until you know what will appear and where. Shame you mixed up your seeds though trunkyjo, unless of course you can identify the seedlings as the start to develop Alpine strawberries - yummy
