Hi Folks Whilst out fruit & veg shopping on Saturday morning, I picked up a pack of 25 Tulip - "Queen of the night" for 99p!! I was really chuffed. Has anyone else bagged a bargain recently? PG  |

Wilkinsons are filling up with Christmas stuff,I got a bag of pearlite(how do you spell it) for 20p and some house plant compost in a split bag for 40p. Lots of other stuff is half price but not the bulbs yet.

Packs of weed suppressing fabric for 50p each from Tesco....bought 6 as its thin Ill use it doubled up. Wilkinsons not too bad for bulbs but Ill wait for a while and see what happens |

Spring-flowering bulbs in the GCs around here have been going at 50% off for the 2-3 weeks. Unfortunatel, I've already bought al that I need.  . I got mine early at full price because I wanted to be sure I got good, firm ones. Especially Queen of the Night that I was trying for the first time. Oh well, you can't win them all. |
