Did anyone read Carol Klein's gardening articles in the Guardian's magazine today? I really enjoyed them. She's such a good, enthusiastic and down to earth writer. She's only been a regular contributor for a while but so far they've all been really lovely to read and inspirational in a practical, reasonably easy to achieve spirit. Recommended.

She's excellent, one of the best around at the moment. Yesterday's one on plants to plant with bulbs was the kind of information that's actually useful. And she doesn't seem to assume that the reader has either acres of rolling parkland or gobs of money at their disposal! Nor does she seem to be interested in 'fashionable' <ggrh> plants ... one gardening writer here in Ireland is very fond of talking about 'this year's must-have plant' and similar inanities ... cheers ...
