I love all the rosehips, Plocket - & I took an almost identical photo along the length of the pond when I was there! Did you have some of the lovely cake with your lunch?

Hia Margi - we bought Rose of Picardy, Bright Smile and Anna Ford - none of the original ones suggested on my "Container Rose" thread were available. You'll have to look at the other thread for piccies of our choices but we've planted RoP in the front garden and OH now wants to get more ;D I might even make an under-gardener of him yet!!! My list of roses for the future, to go in the front garden with RoP is: James Mason; Moonbeam and Morning Mist.
Hia Juliet - we had delicious sarnies then I had home-made flapjack and LP had a shortbread, caramel, chocolate thingy. The cakes looked yummy but HUGE!!!
