Don't know if it's an outstandingly good deal compared to the Net - but it's instantly available and probably better than GC prices - Jewsons builders merchants have rolls of heavy-duty fleece ("bricklayer's fleece") at the mo, 30m x 1.5m, listed at £24.31 inc vat...

A bricklayer's fleece has no arms, and a little patch over the right breast with the company's logo on. A Gardener's fleece is more expensive but is reversable, comes in a greater range of colours and has more pockets. Both are usually machine washable.
