.....for my mum for Christmas. She's 70 years old but absolutely loves her garden. She's always lumping big bags of compost about and has her tools scattered everywhere. We saw this on Dragon's Den earlier this year and thought it would be a nice idea to help her out. What do you think of it ? FA x www.woolworths.co.uk/ww_p2/product/index.jhtml?pid=50829670

Looks really handy FA. Anything that makes shifting big stuff around the garden easier is good. I bought one of those green trolleys with detachable sides a few years ago when it was on offer at a local store and it's been really really good. I use it all the time for my animal feed sacks, hay bales etc as well as for moving seed trays full of plants but most of all my daughter and grand daughter have a whale of a time pulling each other around. That one looks very practical.

Brilliant idea FA keeps everything together too. I bet she will be well chuffed with that

I hope so BB. At £40, it's not cheap but we are extremely grateful for all of the free childminding she does for us over the course of the year so we thought it was worth it !
I think she'll love it.

I bought one of those at Gardener's World Live. It is very good although the tools have a tendency to fall off. Certainly for carrying heavy bags it is good

Good news FA at least you've got one. You could say to her that they have been so popular they could not keep up with the demand. Thats if it doesn't arrive before hope you have sorted out the trike , how have you got on or dare i ask.

Hi Karen
The trike is sorted now. I took the 2nd one back and they just changed the broken bit for a new one from another box. They said that they will just order a new part from the supplier for the other one.
I can relax a bit now......................hopefully !

I bought my wife a folding wheelbarrow early this year. They're £30 in the garden centres, St Ives Market they were £15 and I got the last one, display item with a couple of bolts missing, for £5.

Well, it looks highly unlikely that I'll be giving my mum her present on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, the company selling them on ebay hasn't been able to deliver I've printed a picture of it and wrapped it in with a box of chocolates so that she'll at least know what she's getting. Here's hoping it turns up between Christmas & New Year. FA x

It finally arrived today !!!
Looks ok but haven't put it together yet. I just took it round and gave it to mum still in it's box, wished her a Merry Christmas and left !! I bet I'll get the phone call this weekend - "can you come round and put it together for me please" ;D
