Hello , I am quite new to bulbs etc. I usually plant my garden up with ready made plants from the gardent centre . However trying to be a bit adventurous I sent off for plants from a catalogue. I've just received my order and to my dismay they are barely recognisable as a "bulb" (if that's what they are) and came without instructions. I have no clue as how to plant them up. Some just look like old thick roots with a mesh of fine tangled roots at one end and something more fleshy at the other end. The plants I received are Aquilegia, enchinacea, hollyhocks, gypsophila, heliopsis and lupin. Can I bow to your knowledge for some simple instructions, which way up and how far down would be a good start. Many thanks. murraymint

Where did you buy them from murraymint? There should be instructions in the catalogue you picked them from

Hi Rita They were an offer in the Daily Mirror. They came from Van Muewen Limited. There are still some more plants to be delivered in March . Maybe the instructions will be in that package. Thanks. Let us know when your grandchild "blooms". Murraymint

Why not ring the Daily Mirror and complain?
