I am thinking of buying a Magnolia to fill a big gap in my back garden. Which varieties are people's favourites, and if you could post a photo, it would be great assistance to me making up my mind on what to get  Thanks in advance ;D |

I haven't got a magnolia, although I think that if our garden was bigger I would have one. My sister bought my Dad one called 'Betty'...my late Mother's name....so it'd have to be that one, lovely white flowers blushed through with a dark pink.

Stellata 'Susan' is my fave....not a tall grower though

Thanks Isabella! Mine's considerably smaller, about 4ft, at the moment, but I love the soft furry buds at this time of year. The show so much promise don't they? ;D
