Someone gave a link to a Wolf push/pull hoe the other day (which went into my prezzie/favourites folder ;D) and I had a proper look at one today. I really like the idea of one handle and inter-changeable heads as we're not allowed a shed at the allotment and this would make lugging everything up there a little easier. BUT...... are Wolf tools worth their money? Is there any other push/pull hoes that are as good/better for that price range? I 'spose I'm just after opinions really. Can anyone help? ;D www.garden4less.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=RFM10Don't forget, the handles are separate (look to the right on the link).

Hi Skarloey, its the best hoe I have ever used and IMO well worth the money. I have two different widths of the hoe and can interchange them at will. I also have a head for getting rid of tap rooted weeds. Seen the handle and a couple of heads on special offer at GC's which were an absolute bargain, worth looking out for.

Hi Skarloey, I was recommended Wolf some time ago when I wanted a tree lopper. Very well made products from what I've seen and I'm chuffed to bits with the Lopper I got. I found the Wolf products very expensive in the GC's I used this site tooled-up.com and was pleased with their service the link takes you to the Hoe your looking at and the handles are listed below

Hi Chuckles, thanks for the link. That hoe is in fact the bigger one.... but I think I'll want both. ;D ;D ;D They are cheaper but was just trying to work out the 20% off on the other site. They will be a birthday prezzie so OH said he'll have a look later but he also said there's a 10% off day at Homebase on friday too and he's sure they sell them there too. Pam'll know. ;D So that's 2 who are pro Wolf. Anyone else got an opinion? ;D

I don't have this particular head, but I have a few Wolf products and am very happy with them. I have the ordinary dutch hoe head, two types of rake, cultivating head (small head with three prongs), saw, half moon and various handles. I must admit I would rather use my old hoe that my dad gave me, many moons ago, but other than that, I like them. This push pull one could be my next one, I have looked at it various times, but I keep thinking is it worth the money if I like my old hoe. It is expensive, but very flexible.

It is the Cultiweeder I have and very useful and I got a short handle just for this attachment. Might also get the larger one as well later, but I will see. www.garden4less.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=IEMWhat you have to do is look and see if you need 4 items as if you only need 2, then getting 4 to get 20% off is not a bargain. Have I brought you down to earth yet??? Keith

I use wolf tools at work, i've a got a couple of hoes and a rake head, they are very good tools to use, good length and very strong.
I ran over the rake with my quad and snapped but had a spare shaft so quick change of the heads and was back to work within a couple of minutes. ;D

Actually, I thought you meant this little contraption: www.garden4less.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=DAMI like the look of it but can it really work? Hi Paul, thanks for your opinions too ;D It's great to be able to ask on here before you buy. I noticed you mentioned length and they come in three sizes. Being a 5'1 AND A HALF" short @rse I 'spose I ought to go for the little one?

It sounds OK, but pricey I think! I haven't used one, so maybe somebody who has can say if it works or not!
