I took delivery of my plants from Vernons today ;D Beautiful plants - 73 in total ;D It was worth sending in the photo of my purple bucket ;D

Hello Paul, It's a Thunbergia ( Black-eyed Susie)- I only bought plants of it last year and it is perennial as I have managed to over-winter some in my greenhouse. There are annual seeds Thunbergia alata called 'Susie mixed' and they are easy to grow

Did you just put canes in the pot or is there an obelisk....never tried growing climbers in a pot.....given me food for thought.

Hello ziggy, There was a cane in the pot with some Clematis support wrapped around it - the idea was that I would have a column of Thunbergia - didn't quite work

Hello ziggy, There was a cane in the pot with some Clematis support wrapped around it - the idea was that I would have a column of Thunbergia - didn't quite work Seems to have worked a treat from where i'm sitting Isabella, it's a very pretty display.
