I can't help you on the name but it certainly looks great. The red and green go very well together

Definately not the above Euphorbia which dies down each year and then comes back up with strong green shoots.
Could be E. amygdoloides 'purpurea'

I did ask at the GC and was answered with a shoulder shrug - bit back my reply actually.
I haven't got an annual one have I? Annual in the sense of not standing our temperatures? I also asked it if was winter hard and she said Yes - well she nodded anyway.
Come to think about it she didn't actually say anything.

You know RF, your garden centre assistant actually commutes from Northern Germany to Ireland: last year, at a very posh garden centre, I enquired about the hardiness of a fuchsia only to be informed disdainfully that 'all fuchsias are hardy' . ... Cheers ....

Hi CC - is that the same person who said to a woman who was admiring a pot of lovely smelling hanging tomatoes - "they are Tomatoes, - you can eat them".

Oh tc that looks to be exactly the same plant - thank you so much.
I absolutely hate not knowing what I have bought and I know that there are people out there that are label pinches - do wish they wouldn't.
I will google Euphorbia 'Efanthia' - thanks again tc.
