Ok, in case you were wondering how you could help without leaving the comfort of home, how about this: How much for this almost unused pair of Old Moley's beloved Rolcuts? In the original pack. Probably the gardening antique collectable of the future, but useful in the meantime while you wait. I'll pay the postage to the lucky winner. You send me a cheque payable to Comic Relief!

Ok OM, as it's for a good cause, I'll start you off with £8.00, but if I 'win' I will send you/publish on GWD evidence of a Gift Aid donation then our dear leader to be can contribute as well, in a round about sort of way. ;D

No other takers for this fine example of British workmanship?
Well, they always say - or so I am led to believe - that you shouldn't bid against yourself at an auction, but as I have never been to an auction, I have an excuse, so....
£10!

well, that's typically generous Spruance, but I'm sure you'll not be offended if I hold out hope for a fifth mosquito net and a bid of £12.50 or more - and let this roll over until Sunday night so the GWD weekend mob get a chance... who knows, there might be a Cheltenham winner out there somewhere still celebrating.
A lucky GWD punter that is, not a horse. That would be silly. OM.

Then of course we could have Ms. Susie Liberace, the famous pianist! Or indeed Miss Susie Savage... OK Last one... May I introduce Miss Susie Pollard...

I watched a lot of Comic Relief on Sky last night. Makes you feel so lucky somehow.
If you will take euros, how about 20 of them for the seccateurs? No worries about the postage - thay can go to Cambridge, not here! Judy

Sorry I missed out on the Red Nose Day fun and frolics. I was helping my brother move house yesterday and we had to do it just the 2 of us. Moving a family of 4 is not an easy thing ! I was so knackered last night I couldn't even drag myself off the sofa to log on ! I LOVE Susie Pollard I bought a couple of noses for the kids and pledged last night so I won't be joining in the auction. Good luck though. FA xx
