I found one eating my snowdrops today. I guess that tells me not to buy any Lily bulbs then. Anyone else found them yet?

I grow a few ScentedLillies in pots to have on my decking outside the french doors leading from the kitchen but have never had a problem with Lily Beetles

We get quite a few lily beetles here. I've tried growing lillies in the past and had them chomped to bits. I haven't seen any this year yet though, and I noticed one or two of my lillies were starting to show. Fingers crossed they've all died over the Winter. Somehow, I doubt it though FA

i look every day in spring and summer for the little bu**ers, and pick them off with my hands, you have to put 1 hand under-neath where they are because they drop down as you try to pick them up, then i jump up and down on 'em barbara

It's funny, but I never feel any remorse about squashing them either. Why then can't I squash a slug or snail? Am I right in thinking that there are certain areas in the U.K that these little blighters haven't reached yet?
