Well I got a few more plants off my "want" list today.
In addition to my 4 Azaleas for 50p each, I got a pot of black grass for 30p and some curly grass for 30p too. Can't remember the names and they're outside now but I've wanted them for a while and then I found out we sold them at work. However, because they were like £4.98 and £2.98 respectively, boyf was pulling a face Yesterday I noticed they'd been marked down to £1 each. I talked the manager into giving both of them to me for 60p because I only had 65p on me.
I have literally spent my last pennies on gardening this month! I just hope my petrol lasts until payday or I'm walking to work!

I honestly literally, hand on heart can honestly say I only have 5p to my name!
O2 messed up my mobile phone bill yet again so it's left me completely brassic. Although I might be able to raise a few quid by taking my receipt for the compost back to work, getting a refund and then resold to me to take advantage of the 15% off at the moment. That'd get me about 2 quid lol

Talking want list plants.... I just got a little windfall [sorry Aprilaydee, ] , most of which was spoken for before the cheque hit the mat. However I did indulge myself with a bit of online ordering monday night. I ordered: Tricyrtis Tojen Tricyrtis Raspberry Mousse Bletilla Striatta Leucocoryne Andes Hybrid Lupins [95p] Philadelphus Virginal Echinacea Razzamatazz Clematis Pixie Viola Dancing Geisha Echinacea Maxima Echinacea Coconut Lime Hemerocallis Emanuelle Hosta White Feather 10 Dwarf Orient Lily Garden Party and Azalea Geisha Orange were thrown in for free, not what I would choose personally, but I won't knock a freebie. It might sound a bit over indulgent, but this is money I started saving as a single gal, many years ago, I think I'm allowed a little pampering, don't you think.

I couldn't wait that long Chuckles. We are car less at the moment, so that could take a few weeks, going to cost lots of hundreds to fix a car we are selling in the next couple of months. Oh well, at least I've got my plants to distract me. Ooh, I'm an expectant mum again! ;D

I dream of having enough money to indulge my plant addiction. I shall be asking for B&Q vouchers for my birthday so I can buy some plants from work but all the ones I want will probably be gone before I get my vouchers. And then it means buying more pots <sigh> So money that I could spend on plants also has to be spent on pots too.
I now have to divide my list into "want" and "need". I "needed" the azaleas and the grasses and the plants like heathers etc are still on the list cos they're only a "want". This list is getting very complicated lol

erm....when I said I was an expectant mum again, I didn't mean a real human baby...... I meant the sort of new arrivals that you pace the hall for, waiting for a little brown box with Suttons written on it to be delivered by the postie. Sorry if I confused anyone. But we could name the new plants if you want. If I did have a new 'real' baby [ not likely ] , you lot would be the first to know, the OH would be last..... ;D

They were very pretty names though chaps! ;D I shall be more careful with my wording in future, OH could look on here [not likely though] and have the fright of his life.

I potted my grasses into other pots and topped them with white stones in keeping with the other plants and they look luvverly. Spent all day in the garden in the very warm sunshine. Had the cat and dog with me (dog is now asleep on the chair knackered) and the rabbits have been on the lawn all day. Cleaned the rabbits out too, did some washing, spent ages chatting to my neighbour, lent her an extension lead so she could cut her lawn. I also moved a load of my plants about, sorted out those 2 pots that needed sorting, noticed some of my sweet peas have come up, sprayed my dianthus with bug clear stuff because I noticed some lil brown/black things on them (not ants!). My back aches

Pay day!!!! Indulged my addiction by purchasing pieris forest flame little heath, rhododendron scarlet wonder, hebe pascal and hebe valentino. 25% off all plants at B&Q so they cost me just under £3 each with my discount too. Then I had to buy myself some more pots and stones to top them. Then I bought some night scented stock seeds... Skint again for another month. But happy

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand I just ordered some plants from Parkers....
In addition to the free Azalea orange thingy they're sending, I just ordered some of their cheap plants from the bargain section. Mock Orange, Buddleia Black Kerniggit, Rose Rhapsody in Blue and Magnolia Susan. I wanted to buy the Soulangea or however it's spelt at work earlier but I talked myself out of it. So at least I got a magnolia today ;D
I've also fallen in love with the Albizia Summer Chocolate. Possibly cos it's called something chocolate but I ain't paying £17 quid for it at the moment.
