During any cold spell you had. Must admit that my young Gunnera leaves at work.....which have pushed up through their covering of straw and are up to 18" high, are now showing a bit of black frost damage

My poor magnolias were just opening at the weekend, now they are all brown and sad looking. Thankfully, everything else looks ok

Though the little snow we did have melted just as quickly all seems ok, I had to come away offshore so won't know untill I get home again if anything has been damaged. New growth on my Acer's was coming through so hopefully that has survived the frost we have beeen getting.

Not seen any damage so think I was lucky. Did put any tender plants in pots in the GH or Poly Kennel or in a sheltered spot though just incase. Sorry to hear about your Magnolias PG

We only had a little cold, wind and hail, nothing settled and no frost so everything of mine seems to be OK so far.

So far so good...nothing seems to have perished. Was pleased to see that my currant bushes and the apples were putting out leaves too.
