I thought I'd keep an eye on my horticultural retail therapy as it's becoming an expensive addiction... Despite the fact that I'm too ill to get into the garden...I had NO problem spending money on seeds today Dwarf White Sage Tree Basil Pot Marjoram Greek Oregano Cumin Astrantia major hybrida Ruby Cloud Coleus (the little frilly one) dragon sunset Musa sikkimensis (ANOTHER banana!) Aster chinensis carpet ball mixed Clematis Sleboldii (on offer...dunno if this is seeds or a plant!) Cyperis papyris spellings may all be wrong as this is from memory....oo my very first clematis...

Today 2 of my sisters took me to Palmers (again) GC...I wanted to see if they had any more of the little dragonfly embossed alluminium pots (for herbs)....got 2 more (now have 3) and just could not resist a little Lilac Syringa hyacithiflora 'Pocahontas' . Managed to control myself and NOT buy the gorgeous viburnum as well (too big for my garden anyway) I love the idea of fragrant spring shrubs, I've never been one for daffodils and tulips etc. Tired as a tired thing but I reckon I'll be OK for work on Tuesday, the cough's nearly gone now ;D

Been shopping today ;D
This week our lottery syndicate had our 6 month's payout...£30 so I had an excuse to be a naughty girl...tee hee... I got 150 litres of compost (for tubs) 2 osteospernum (a white with purple tips whirlygig and a lovely orange one with a purple tinge to the petals) 2 dark red coleus, a millionbells 'firecracker' and...and...and...and..a TRACHYCARPUS FORTUNEI at last....
we just had time to plant the palm before it started raining...great stuff a very satisfying morning's shopping...
only went £6 over budget ;D

I'm actually getting to the stage now when I look but don't buy because I have no room left in the border...and a load of young plants raised from seed just waiting to go in...so when my big sis took me to a GC after work today...I bought 2 bags bark chippings (mulch), a bag of compost and 5 terracotta pots...not a plant purchase in sight (big sis almost speechless!)
