What is your main plant food. Personally, i've always preferred miracle grow for all pot stuff and i occasionally use some mushroom compost on my Acers and wisteria if we've got a bit spare at work

Didn't know what to put - Phostrogen for a general boost, manure when I can get it, and seaweed fertiliser - bought for bulbs but now used all around ... cheers ...

Andy you beat me to it. I was thinking about this, this week and wondered what everyone else uses. I was going to post a similar question. To answer your question I mainly use Tomorite or Phostogen. Last year I tried slow release ferterlizer for the hanging baskets but it didn't seem to do much good. or was it the very hot weather. This year I have bought chicken manure pellets to try - but they really smell and everyone is complaining.

I use Tomorite in the greenhouse and Phostrogen and Miracle-Gro in my pots.
I also use slow release fertiliser in my baskets and we use chicken pellets ,garden compost and manure on the allotment.

I use a combination of Tomerite or similar, fish blood and bone, leaf mould, manure, home made compost and Chicken pellets depending on what it is I'm feeding and if it's garden or pots.
