I have a couple of roses in my garden which my neighbour has always admired, and I thought it would make a nice birthday present for her (in June), if I could get two for her. Problem is I cannot remember what they are called, and can I find the labels? Can I heck! All I can remember is that I bought them from a nursery whilst on holiday in Haverfordwest about ten years ago. Something like Websters Rose Nurseries I think it was called. I’ve tried googling for the name, but have drawn a blank, so I’ve either got the name wrong or they have ceased trading. These two photos are from last year, and I just wondered if anyone could ID them for me? Thanks in advance. LFPx

The IDs on the photos are easy....If anyone likes them head for the JParker website......
The first is Blue Moon....
The second ....Green as Grass!
I have both. The main thing is neither like daylight and under cultivation should be treated like mushrooms. They are quite unique in the rose World as the flowers only appear between 23rd November and 29th February.

I will order a copy of Parkers catalogue right away. I've been searching through my old holiday file - I always keep knick knacks from my travels - and have found some information on the nursery. Yes, it was Websters, but I still don't have a note of the rose names, although there is a small note from the proprietor Mr. Dai Bottelle, giving some basic cultivation instructions. A lot of good that was as I have only just found it! I'm none too sure about your comment on flowering dates though as my two roses are never in flower before the end of March at the very earliest. Perhaps the Parkers ones are southern hemisphere cultivars? LFPx
