Evening all I lifted my compost lid off to turn it and pop some bits and pieces in it and I was welcomed by a swarm of flies ....hundreds of them Should they be there even though they weren't invited and if they shouldn't be there, what should I do? Thanks, S x

Think there just pain in the butties Susie ;D my neighbour has them too and she doesn't have much in her compo bin yet

i also loads of ickle flies that attack me everytime i open the lid of the compost bin
