Hi all,
Just thought whilst i have a few minutes to post what a lovely weekend im having. The weather has been fantastic and it promises more of the same. Friday was spent walking some of the Chilton's and having a brilliant lunch in The Lions a pub in Bledlow, Bucks. The weather was around 20 c and sunny. Even caught a bit of sun on my face. Yesterday as it was my birthday was spent in loads of garden centres spending my Garden Vouchers. Plants bought included, Echinacia, Coreopsis, Hemerocallis 'Golden Zebra' (brilliant variegated leave version) Hermerocallis 'Rajah', Astilbe 'Roze', Geraniums 'Dusky Crug' and 'Johnsons Blue'. All bought in 1litre pots at £1.99 each. Bargain i thought. We then went off the Audley End and English Heritage Garden and House designed by Capability Brown. Again weather gorgeous, wine tasting, spring walks and a great lunch. This morning dawning wonderful again, so ive just spent some time watering some tulips in pots, feeding my Magnolia and Acer. Tied in the Delphiniums and dead headed some Daffs. It was so peaceful, just the birds singing. Anyway enough of me, what have you lot been up to ??

I sat out on my new patio yesterday morning at about 10am.....the sun was shining, the wood pigoens were cooing, there was no traffic or planes taking off from Gatwick and i had a view across the north Sussex countryside for as far as the eye could see. Now if that wasn't the nearest thing to heaven, i don't know what is

It's quite cloudy and chilly today, but was absolutely glorious on Saturday - so much so that I spent most of the day sitting around in the garden and enjoying it rather than attending to its needs (part of the reason being that we had a dinner party on Friday, followed by massive hangover on Saturday ). Everthing I planted earlier seems to be coming up fine, which is nice ... cheers ...

Well a great start to my fortnight off means I've been in bed all day feeling poorly. The sore throat and general ickyness has now moved onto my chest and I've spent the afternoon "barking" and then keeling over because it hurts

I don't want to spoil things for you buy OH & I both started with a sore throat which developed into a hacking cough 2 weeks ago. We are both still coughing & have felt c**p the whole time. Janet.
