Dorothy Clive Garden

We visited the Dorothy Clive Garden in Staffordshire today, and not only did we enjoy the wonderful garden, but the weather as well. There were very few people there, and we meandered around the informal grounds pretty much alone most of the time. It was early for the azaleas and rhododendrons, and some of the magnolias and camelias were finishing, but there was still plenty of colour, and much to delight us.

I must get out more... I think the last garden I 'did' was Chatsworth, about 10 years ago.

I'm lucky that my family LOVE visiting gardens, so while mine is very small, I at least get to appreciate on a broader scale!!! We are hoping to go to another little garden today so I might be posting more piccies later ;D

No I haven't been there Cheery, and I'm green with envy that you are going! OH sometimes drives past and always threatens to go without me but hasn't quite dared yet! Have a wonderful time if I forget to say it later on in the week
