I thought I'd try and grow dogwood from cuttings. So this year after pruning I cut the stems into 9 - 12 inch lengths and stuck them ALL in the ground. I now have, at last count, 58 cuttings that are starting to grow. I'm only glad the original shrub was young and very smal.

Last year i tried to grow Digitalis (foxglove) from seed only got 4 to germinate. This year i thought i would sow more, i now have 80 that have germinated. The worst part is ive no idea were they are going to go.

Similar problem, I do not know what I am going to do with 50 Cornus shrubs, assuming they all survive.

Mine is sowing Huechera, Buddleia and Alpine Strawberries from seed - they are soooo tiny to prick out and there are hundreds of them - never again!
