Ah you've just named one of my artistic heros! I've got a book of all his rose paintings, and sometimes I just sit and drool over it - it's such stunning work. I'm not sure that Hull is the sort of site that will want my photos, but I'll keep them on my site.

His work, as you say, is stunning I think thats why I stopped, but after twenty something years am feeling the urge again. Look him up on tintnet some of the prices for prints are ridiculous!.He had a great knack of naming his rose paintings with names that were not quite their botanical names,or at l;east did not match other botanists descriptions! this always helps when trying to research.
