Ok, here's one for the Ladies.
The task is to build a tree house. You have
one week to complete the task, but with a few provisos...
I should perhaps say at this point that our experts have completed the task already in
under a week, and so for realism, it is important that our 'DIY builders' should use the same methodology.
Consequently, you will require at least one mitten,
(perhaps two members could club together and share a pair) and some strapping of some description. Length depending entirely on your girth! ;D
Firstly, decide which arm you will be using for the task, then ask your OH to firmly strap the other arm to your body so that it cannot be used at all. Then also put the fingerless mitten on the 'working hand'. This is the
only direct assistance that your OH may offer although it
is permissible for him to help you find your site, and also to keep away intruders.
Having found a suitable location for your DIY efforts it is entirely up to you.
Just a few important points though..…
- There are no instructions!
- There are no materials, you must source these locally, on your own, and without removing the arm strapping or the mitten, which must stay in place until the task is completed.
- You may not use a ladder under any circumstances.
…and finally, the completed tree house must resemble in every respect, a single room of your local maternity unit.
We appreciate that this may be a little difficult for some people, but if our experts can do it, then surely so can you.
