Hi CPB, That looks really nice, very fluid! What are you going to plant in there? Sara

Thanks Sara....I can't plant anything too sprawly because it's only a small space. I'm torn between herbs and flowers... We need to improve the soil quite a lot as it's had just grass on it for about 20 years ;D

That looks much better and got rid of that awkward corner to cut with the mower......can't wait to see it planted up.

Must admit that I am have been thinking the same ZW. I am assuming that you have a herb corner - it would - make a lovely one wouldn't it.
It is a little small for a banana - or is it -- ooh CPB - could you put something a bit exotic there perhaps....

I think I would put low growing creeping perennials in it. Such as saxifrages or low growing varieties of sedum.
oops!! forgot to mention the whole garden looks lovely.....so neat!!

Having run out of room I have persuaded my OH that we needed to extend the flower bed ;D It has only added a small area for planting up...but I'm jolly happy with it! Like it very much CPB

OO I've missed you CBB! did you have a good holiday? are your plants OK?
OH has suggested that we echo the shape of the flower bed t'other end as well (as he hates trying to mow that bit too) I aint arguing as it gives me even more planting space !
