;D Would that be that Ryan Durrant and Simon double barrelled name?
I used to watch this a lot just cos the presenters amused me.....they were good gardeners but lets just say they are not natual presenters.

Oh I really love this programme - I think Simon and Ryan are a hoot - such a double act - they are also on The Green Room - but - these programmes are years old - they are repeated, repeated and repeated
I laughed once cos in the background, the camera crew hadnt noticed, a washing line was out and a large pair of ladies bloomers were blowing in the wind ;D ;D
Simon was just talking to camera - totally oblivious

;D It's in a class of it's own......they are such a mismatch but somehow compliment each other.....something always didn't seem to go to plan....they would get lost, or it would rain or something would happen. Here's a pic of Simon double barrelled name.....the pic says it all really. uktv.co.uk/images/uktvSeries/311_large.jpg

I wonder why we never hear anything of them. I emailed UKTV about them and never got a reply - I think Simon would make a super presenter of GW
Yes they do complement each other very much - Simon calls Ryan "Old Boy" all the time and Ryan just smirks back at him

I think they did make some more recent ones as i caught one and thought they had given Simon double barrelled his own series but then his sidekick turned up. They had ditched the landrover though and acquired a van. ;D ;D Oh and got some decent music rather than that original soundtrack they had.

Sometimes they have a van and then it reverts back to the R.R - there is sometimes a dog too called I think "Tip" - I watched one where they were planting a tree and it had 1999 on the label and Simon Harrison-Knibbs said just made it before the Millennium so they go back a bit Still I find them enjoyable; Would be glad if they had made a new series tho - look for signs when it is on
