Hi all, My water but is very cloudy with loads of algae. When i set it up in the winter, i added oxygenating plants along with 4 gold fish to help keep the algae and mozzies down. During the dry spell where it didn't rain for 6 weeks the water went very green a cloudy. Doesn't smell though. Would this harm the plants ?? and how do i get rid of the green ?? Must admit this fresh water we have had recently has helped !! Mr G

I've used Biotal's Refresh in similar circumstances in the past Mr. G, and with good results. It says it's not harmful to fish, but I don't know if that applies to fish in the water butt.
