Someone came round to have a look at my garden last night and I asked if she could identify a few "inherited" plants growing through that I certainly did not plant ... she said they are Lily of the Valley, which I'm pleased about.
Like I said ... I love garden surprises like that!
Just wanted to share.

I now what you mean Marble, - a few years ago we changed the garden around totally and in the Spring of the following year I had totally forgotten where I had planted things.
I was delighted to see things coming through and it was a guessing game many a time. Fun though.

What a lovely surprise! I just love Lily of the Valley but struggle to get them to grow, partly because the slugs and snails seem to like them.

I love Lily of the Valley too, have a couple of really small clumps in the garden My little Cyclamens always surprise me when they show their lovely deep pink flowers.
