I was wondering if we could put an new area up for discussing all garden buildings, wall and structures, arch way, paths etc..Looking through all the pictures I can see some really creative ideas but at times it is difficult to find them again. Its any idea, what do you think? Robin.

Well this is spooky....i was just thinking along the same lines, not having seen this thread before.
Has any of the admin thought about have a "suggestions" thread ?
Along with Robin's suggestion of a "buildings" area....(could be for all hard landscaping such as patios, walls, fences, buildings etc), i'd like to suggest some competitions. Not prize giving competitions but just for fun in the form of "xxxxxxxxxxx" of the month.
A topic, whether it be garden of the month, hanging basket of the month, plant of the month, photo of the month etc etc where everyone can vote for it by simply ticking a box and then counting the votes at the end of the month.
Pictures, baskets, gardens etc would have to be nominated by us peasants (two nominations puts that feature into the "final").
The winner would then have a "GARDEN OF THE MONTH" displayed in their signature with a little trophy icon blah blah.
Must admit it's done on virtually all the other forums i belong to and is extremely popular.

yeah I do chuckles but gardens change so often and not everyone puts pics on there so if there was a lil incentive they might post more ;D
Hey, I can't help being nosey!! It just gives me more plants to put on my "want" list.

Makes you wonder why you bother suggesting ways to improve the site doesn't it Without wishing to be confrontational in any way, shape or form ... Personally, I think that's a bit harsh. After all; we all know how to start a "new thread" - as Robin has. And hopefully we'll all start using it soon. Maybe I'll contribute this weekend when I demolish my shed and get creative making a new one
