Does anyone share my guilty secret? I can't resist buying plants, but then I take ages before I plant them, so I am madly watering and, inevitably, losing some and then feeling reeeally bad. For example, yesterday I went to a "weekend of gardening" at a beautiful chateau near where I live (the Loire Valley). It was a glorious day in the most gorgeous setting with specialists from all over France selling the most fabulous plants. Sooo, of course - masses of fantastic plants. On top of those I have already bought elsewhere. I was going to get up really early and plant them all, but - so far - not a single one. I have decided this is a form of addiction - can anyone help??

I have this addiction but i have a far worse confession . I get my plants for nothing from our nursery. I go up there once a week when my mate is working and he tells me to "help yourself" So it's like letting Vanessa Feltz loose at an all day banquet. I come home with carfuls of stuff, get it home and then wonder why i got it. I end up either giving it all to neighbours or throwing it away !!!! Am i forgiven
