That's not too far from me Karen. I haven't been in for a while and had forgotten that they do gardening stuff until reading on this and BBC boards that bargains are to be had. Will now put it back on my list of places to go.

Ooooh forgot to say I called in on Thursday and got 2 pkts of Sweat Peas Cupani a purply plummy bicolour with a heady scent originating from seed sent to England in 1699 by Father Cupani also a pkt of Gnt Waved. A pack of Fairy winged Poppies and some Mange Tout, the MT are now sown in pots in the GH. Wasn't much left really I left it a bit late and our Wilkos is only small

yeah I had a look at that site but there wasn't anything I wanted to buy at a price I liked plus I can get them from work cheaper with my discount. I bought some good stuff in there when I went to Lichfield a few months back. The nearest things to a Wilko around here is Instore and Home Bargains (my new favourite shops).

They have started building a big Wilkinsons in Bordon at the moment. I'm sure that's what someone said it was gonna be. Soo, they're a good thing to have are they? Never heard of them before.

Yeah Wilkos are good. Lots of cheap stuff you probably don't need but really want at that price. The kinda place I shouldn't be allowed into... ;D

Wilko's is fab. I've bought some veg seeds for next year, in the fridge with all my others now!!
I also bought the Cupani sweet peas, and the three I sowed straight into the garden as a tester, have all come up and are about 2 inches high now!
I've also bought trailing begonia tubers in there when half price (75p for 2), popped the straight in and they'been great. The two I bought last year and left in over winter have even come up again this year.

Sounds brilliant! I thought they must be a northern company but Bagpuss has obviously had one for a good while. I must get out more!
