As some of you know I have my first assessment at college tomorrow . A natural hand tied posy suitable for a child to carry or to give ;D. Off I went to the florist, £20 in hand to buy some carefully selected blooms and suitable foliage! I decided to go for autumnal colours.......orangey, peachy, ivory and deep green leaves! I was thrilled to bits with my purchases and, after finishing work, rushed home to prepare them all in time for tomorrow. Roses, beautiful and stripped perfectly......same with all of the other blooms! Last, but by no means least, I came to prepare my proudest purchase................beautiful deep orange...............................EUPHORBIA ! <quickthinkingsmiley>.......I'll just bind the stems so the sap won't irritate . <thinkinglikeachildsmiley>....WHAT IF THEY TAKE A BITE OUT OF THE POSY................. .....probably end up getting sued before I've even started . I've got half an hour in the morning to find a suitable replacement.............or should I S x

On a scale of 1 to 10, Susie darling, that's a not very high number! Might be a better idea to use the Euphorbia at home and find something else smartish in the morning...

PS - Don't forget to post the posy pics pretty pronto, please!

Play safe Susie dont use them; heard some awful stories about rashes and stuff I have loads of them in my garden - they seed themselves like mad - will be brave and pull them up soon wearing suitable protected armour Actually I never planted them - they have appeared from "next door's garden"

Well done you for remembering - are you able to provide notes with your work so they know that you wanted to use Euphorbia and then realised you shouldn't? I'd give bonus marks if I was the assessor. Anyway - try and find something else to use and good luck! I can't wait to hear how you get on (because I know you'll do well) and see the photos!!!!
