...or am I just green fingered I sowed some Bellis Pomponette in May. They are biennial and on the seed packet said they would flower the next Spring They are in bud and ready to flower NOW?! Anyone else had this happen; is this normal?

Could well be because we has that warm spell in April - its seem to have done some stange things. I've got Dahlias in flower already - not usual tile late July/early August!

Just count your blessings. You'll be enjoying them now instead of next year. ( to be on the safe side you might sow some extra now so you do have them next year too.) My foxglove seedlings have come up so all things going I should have flowering foxgloves next year.

Am so glad not the only one then - wonder if they will still flower in the Spring too So now you cant plan your garden according to the Seasons anymore I also plan ahead this way - my Sweet William for eg have behaved and flowered at the right time

That happened to me a few summers ago with Evening Primrose, they flowered the year they were sown.....it was an exceptional summer though to be fair and put it down to this.
