I have had a lovely day today. Son gone off cycling for the day, daughter gone shopping with friends to Birmingham and hubby gone to watch motorbikes racing(?) not sure where Donnigton i think. So i had a very lazy morning downloading photos onto photobucket. Then went out to visit a beautiful garden at Weatheroak called Pump Cottage, it was absolutely gorgeous and I will get photos on when i have time. Went shopping to Morrisons and had a surprise win on the lotto, only a tenner but i bought two lovely Clematis with my win. Came home and have just had a lovely cream tea, scones jam and clotted cream. Now browsing through website. LOVELY!!!

Done pretty much the same, wife at work, daughter at my mum and dads so i'm having a potter. Mowed the lawn and re-seeded it, dead headed the tubs, potted some of the Datura and made a hanging basket up from some of the dregs i've got left for the school fete next week.
Might go and have a little doze now !!!

Yep. Me too.
Wife and daught in Liverpool, son slumming around the house (so he might as well be out - teenagers!) so spent all afternoon tidying the garden. Half way there anyway, and I managed to cut the grass for the first time in three weeks before it rained!

I was working 7-1 today, ready for bed LOL one of the neighbours a few doors down were out in the garden making a racket until nearly midnight so didn't exactly get a great start to my sleep.

Lazy day till 11am. Then OH and I went shopping. Home at 4pm to get ready for barbe-q. Non stop since. Bit of a drama later on - unhappy couple - put a damper on the evening but that's life. Sad though. It's my sis and her OH and I love them to bits but they're just not happy together. What can you do?
Shrub.

I LOVE those days! They are a rarity so to be enjoyed to the uttermost. OH took smallest to visit some family a while ago so I had a whole weekend free - it was heavenly! Out in the garden first thing, reading while I ate what I wanted for tea and reading in bed. Coo! I want one of those weekends every month please.....how nice to have two bonus Clems too! Brilliant!
