Well I'm feeling rather pleased that we took revenge on Colchester for our defeat earlier in the season.

Just about in the play-offs now - 7th but only on goal difference. Listened on the radio and sounded like one of our better performances of the season.

Big match in SPL is the Hearts Rangers game, which hopefully all three points will be picked up by the lads at Tynecastle, Hearts winning today and Celtic beating Inverness tomorrow will extend our lead at the top to 20 points. Though Inverness isn't always an easy one.

Goalless draw at Tynecastle, so hopefully the Bhoys will have good journey to Inverness the morn and extend our lead to 19 points.

Aha! Found the footy thread!! Just wanted to record the fact that the Mighty Colchester United are STILL the highest placed East Anglian team - a full 6 places above the nearest also ran outfit!!! Up the Col U and long live Fortress Layer Road!!! ;D ;D ( mind you Preston then Brum might alter the equation!! )

COOMON! the Hoops 19 points clear at the top after a win at Inverness, though a crap game where Celtic were the second best we got a win and all three points. Into extra time Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink scored the winner and immediately got sent off for a second red for over celebrating.

Babs if my was Preston I'd give up!! Mick is a Spurs man, still some has to get the short straw, my team is at home to them in the cup. When you've worked out which is my team you'll realise I also carry a cross!!

Born in the Bush, lived 1/2 mile from the Cottage, met a few villans in the Cottage pub (remember the then Great Train Robbery!), been with the team since mid 50s through thick and lots of thin. Not one to change allegiances.

I'll leave that to you. I 'm not sure who's being tested the most you or me. Its nice when they win though. Just think I could have moved to our now rich neighbours, but I can not think of one reason why I would. I have never set foot in the place.

Some classic footballer's quotes. Not sure how many of them are true though !
- Interviewer: 'Would it be fair to describe you as a volatile player?' David Beckham: 'Well, I can play in the centre, on the right and occasionally on the left side.' - 'I'd like to play for an Italian club, like Barcelona.' - Mark Draper
- 'I would not be bothered if we lost every game as long as we won the league.' - Mark Viduka - 'If you don't believe you can win, there is no point in getting out of bed at the end of the day.' - Neville Southall - 'I've had 14 bookings this season - 8 of which were my fault, but 7 of which were disputable.' - Paul Gascoigne - 'I've never wanted to leave. I'm here for the rest of my life, and hopefully after that as well.' - Alan Shearer - 'You've got to believe that you're going to win, and I believe we'll win the World Cup until the final whistle blows and we're knocked out.' - Peter Shilton - 'I faxed a transfer request to the club at the beginning of the week, but let me state that I don't want to leave Leicester.' - Stan Collymore
- 'It was a big relief off my shoulder.' - Paul Gascoigne
- 'I'm as happy as I can be - but I have been happier.' - Ugo Ehiogu
- 'Leeds is a great club and it's been my home for years, even though I live in Middlesbrough.' - Jonathan Woodgate
- 'I can see the carrot at the end of the tunnel.' - Stuart Pearce
- 'I took a whack on my left ankle, but something told me it was my right knee.' - Lee Hendrie
- 'I couldn't settle in Italy - it was like living in a foreign country.' - Ian Rush
- 'I always used to put my right boot on first, and then obviously my right sock.' - Barry Venison
- 'I definitely want Brooklyn to be christened, but I don't know into what religion yet.' - David Beckham
- 'All that remains is for a few dots and commas to be crossed.' - Mitchell Thomas
- 'One accusation you can't throw at me is that I've always done my best.- Alan Shearer
- 'I'd rather play in front of a full house than an empty crowd. ' - Johnny Giles
- 'Sometimes in football you have to score goals.' - Thierry Henry
- 'My parents have been there for me, ever since I was about 7.' - David Beckham
- 'I was surprised, but I always say nothing surprises me in football.' - Les Ferdinand
- 'It was like the ref had a brand new yellow card and wanted to see if it worked.' - Richard Rufus
- 'Winning doesn't really matter as long as you win.' - Vinny Jones

I have always supported every manager west ham have had. I even sat on the fence during Pardew's darkest hour.
But now....i really think that Curbishley has to go. He has no motivation, no backbone and no clue how to handle his west ham flops.
I can now concede that we are relegated and i would sack every single f***ing player in the team.
I would get a new manager in....along the lines of George Graham, and start to rebuild in the championship.
For those hammer fans who think we'll bounce staright back....just look at Leeds.
I'm off to slit my wrists
