Paid gardening work

I think there are a few people on this board who work doing gardening, but can't remember who or where in the country you are - please could you remind me? Someone I know wants a gardener! Thanks.

I recall seeing something Juliet, also recall someone thinking of going into gardening work and they were asking about hourly rates etc.

It's something I'd thought of doing maybe next year so would be good to find someone who does it now for some hints and tips.

I've done a search on all manner of words but can't find it

Not doing very well with this, am I Chuckles? I've found a couple of people on the Beeb, but not in the right area for me - they might be able to help you though.

Well I thought there were some gardeners on here too. Are we both loosing the plot so to speak ;D

A useful contact might be 'hotsunlover' on the BBC MB's. Hsl has started doing this and she's very helpful. Sure she would share information on the 'how to's' with you Juliet.

Hi Shrubrose, I've already been in touch with HSL & also Beejay on the Beeb - sadly neither of them are in the right part of the country for me - I'm looking for a gardener for someone I know rather than for advice about setting up as a gardener myself - they might be able to help Chuckles though.

Perhaps I should mention that the people who are looking for a gardener are not in Cambridge (though not in Sussex either - thanks, Andy) - I've deliberately avoided giving an exact location because of this being a public board, but they are south of London. I'm also really looking for someone I've known on the boards for a reasonable length of time as they wouldn't feel happy about my giving their details to someone I don't know very well.
