do you know, do i have to dig them out, and store them over winter, or will they be OK left with compost on them, they're part of the gladiolli family, but i dont know if they are as tender,

I've grown these many times but, whatever I do with them, dig them up, keep them in pots or grow them in the ground, they never do as well the next year and by the following year they're history!! Still, always worth buying more as they're not that expensive. BTW their botanical name is Gladiolus callianthus now.

thanks they have made loads of small bulblets, so maybe i'll pot those on and see how they fare
