Blimey CPC, very relaxed and at home there isn't it? Does it wander over to yours much? They are so beautiful, shame they are also so destructive. ( and so tasty! )

Despite the fact that these lovely creatures eat all my rosebuds and camellias every year, and many other luscious things too, I cannot but smile when I see one (or five in my case). They cannot help what they do, I just wish they'd stay in the acres of fields around me!

What a charming photo CptC. I guess they 'drop in' on your neighbour because he/she might have made it 'easy' for the deer, though of course not easy to keep them out if they're determined to get in. I agree with wt, they cannot help what they do and we must accept they are as much 'nature' as we are ourselves.

There were actually two of them, just sat nonchalantly. They and their mates are an absolute nightmare and I would do unspeakable things to them

They wouldnt come near my fence after they have "seen" my dog - she would send them off in no uncertain terms; they would never come back Do you not have a dog Cap'tn
