Cheery and MrsKP are VERY tidy! I must admit that I did tidy some packets of seeds, plant labels and a couple of books away before taking my photo!!! ;D

Hlo FA...nah. Work in a hospital laboratory. We have to cover all the 'out-of-hours' emergency work, 1730-0900 M-F and weekends. ;D I do 1-3 per month, and we're not busy ALL the time (although some nights are worse than others...as the actress said to the bishop)

Oh I understand you are quite right Plocket but here is my PC which is in an upstairs bedroom that I use as a music/sewing/seed sowing room - I am naturally tidy and I didnt have to "tidy up" before I took the photo - honestly PS I love your smileys - tell me do you have to put them individually in your photo bucket as they wont copy and paste into a Post

Fab Sleepy, I can't fault you it looks very homely and well used. It's almost a mirror image of how our desktop looks in the spare room. Have to say I don't use it, it is for the OH.

Thanks Busy Bee, that is very reassuring. I do feel uncomfortable in a tidy environment - kinda like a fish out of water I guess. There you go Sleepy, have to say it's tidier than when I last went in there though.

Cheeky! Actually, during the tidy up I managed to lose a tube of Bostik. Not a good idea when you have a 17month old baby running around the place.

All's fair in love and war etc. As threatened promised, here is my tip! Actually it doesn't look too bad on the photo, and nowhere near as bad as Sleepy's!

No indeed Sleepy, I have some special anti-glare cleaner for the screen so definitely no sticky fingerprints at all, although the original hard coating is rather scratched, but not so bad as I can't put up with it. I paid extra for a screen upgrade in February 2001, so I think I have had my money's worth out of it. The PC tower just visible to the left of the chair is my old PC which I still haven't got around to deleting the data on. After all, I've only had the new one for eleven months! My worst habit of all is printing off 'useful' information, which then tends to sit on the desk for several months/years until I decide it's not useful after all and throw it out!
