Whilst clean in both mind and body I am NOT an organised person when it comes to things like desks...my OH is however an obsessive tidyer-upper. This becomes apparent to visitors to the CPB house....OH's chair has a table next to it...nothing on it but a box where he pops his change and keys when he comes home from work. My sofa is covered in cushions (all mismatched)...the table next to me is covered in bits of patchwork, pens, drawing pad, books, letters, cards etc...there are usually at least 2 pairs of shoes on the floor around where I sit....usually a week's worth of newspapers, gardening magazines...my seed tin, beads and bag....guess who the cat likes sitting with best? ME! ;D Mind you...my OH has the garage to play in which he has soundproofed and filled with guitars, a piano, mixing desk etc...plus all his tools (all neatly organised) After 30 years he's given up trying to make me more organised...I manage to tidy up when we're having visitors...I'm not a complete slob I hasten to add...I do the hoovering, dusting etc...(then put all my tat back where it was)....I'm just messy.

Mine is on my lap!
Everything in my house is WiFi now. Even got the parents involved. Not that my parents are WiFi but I got their lappy enabled. Mum still sits with it on a desk though <sigh>

No, just the "taxman" side of me. I can't examine a set of business records that are in a mess so I spend hours putting them neat and tidy before I start !!! I guess that just spills over into my home life as well. But then Mrs FA is exactly the same - everything has a place and everything should be in its place. Bit of a nightmare with 2 kids but we manage somehow !!

everything has a place and everything should be in its place. FA x Flippin' 'eck, don't 'spose you want to give us any lessons do you? Our house is cleaned daily but bloody untidy! All the little fellas toys are downstairs as he's only just 3 and I don't want to shove him up in his bedroom. As I look round now, I can see at least 50 'take along' Thomas and friends engines, books, Thomas road and rail track and engines, a micro machines lorry and all it's little bits.........

Skarloey We have all our kids toys downstairs as well. In the living room, which isn't that big. We just have made a space behind one of the sofa's for some of them and at the side of the other sofa for the rest. The house room is generally untidy when they're playing with them but when they've finished, we put stuff away and when they go to bed, everything is put back where it came from. FA x

After seeing some of the others I think I dare post now, these are both at either end of a worktable in my study/office The only things that gets me down are the million wires all over the place. One is for work and the other for leisure

What a lot of space Netherfield. I take it that the drink is at the happy end. My Keyboard is on my lap, monitor on a coffee table, and tower on the floor between sofa and the wall. I share the sofa with cats and cushions. Monitor goes down on the hearth when not in use and I import the printer when needed and it sits on a chair. Sky hooks would be helpful...!! Wx
