after three years my hedychium has finally got flower buds, and 'i,m about to go on holiday so I'll probably miss it  On a serious note it's the gardnerianum variety and supposed to take temperatures near freezing, has anyone tried it in the border, it's getting rather large and i'm tempted to try it |

This happens every year to a neighbour who has a beautiful tree Paeony. She has never seen the spectacular flowers, except in a photo I took of it last year  |
