Hi, I have accumulated quite a few Osteospermums this year and the majority have done well. I do have one that is a few years old and it is still flowering it little heart out, as are the others. This is the hard bit, my garden is quite tiny and as much as I love these plants they take up huge amounts of space and as most of you know I can't say no to a new plant or two. What shall I do? Sara

Hum. Personally Sara I'd take a few out to make room for more plants, when you get them!

Must admit Sara that I have the same problem - small garden - big craving for more plants.
I was in the garden today and started wondering about getting rid of a few things but then I hang on the things that I have.....still it would be lovely to have some other things.....
Yes Sara I understand your dilemma and the only answer that I have to have more and more tubs (if I get any more I will be squeasing my way around the garden) but even so I bought another two 50 litre tubs yesterday.
The question from my OH as to where I am going to put them ......I have no idea......but I will find room.

if its any help, i take out some things that are finished for the year, (like primulas) put them in a plastic tub under the bench, and plant summer things, when the summer things are finished i reverse the process. ;D my daffs and tulips get dried off and put in the shed. giving room for other stuff ;D its awful when you dont have a garden as big as your ideas

Thanks all,
I am going to let them finish flowering and then pot them up, so they can be moved to a new raised bed(not built yet) in my even smaller front garden.
