I don't normally watch gardening programmes, but caught Alan Titschmarsh's 'How to be a Gardener' last night - really excellent, will definitely watch the next ones ... cheers ...

I think Geoff Hamilton would be my first choice as he would be really helpful and down to earth. Big Al I find too holy for my liking! My second choice would be Bob Flowerdew, partly for his beautiful hair but also his sometimes off the wall gardening ideas He would help me to earth up my spuds - maybe 7 feet high!! PJ
