Hi everyone, on Sunday the farmers weather forcast was for a wet week but there will be frosts from Scotland down to the Midlands from Wednesday so get those tender plants under cover before it arrives. Also the winds will be coming from the North West and getting colder all over the Country this week. They have been wrong but you never know they may have it right this time. Take care. Carol

And on Sunday it was supposed to pee down all day, but I had a lovely morning at the lottie and a whole afternoon in the garden, including cutting the grass!

It is pouring down up here today, but just in case, I spent the whole of yesterday lifting my Fuchsias and other tender plants. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth all the work, keeping them through the winter when replacement plugs are so cheap. But I just cannot bring myself to chuck them all on the compost. And by now, of course, I have some pretty sizeable plants. Guess it's paraffin time again soon.

Been pretty horrible here today, getting really cold of an evening - Karl said its cold, so that means its really cold ! Got rid of most of my summer bedding now except whats in the garden, most of which survived last winter (global warming anyone ) including allysum and some mimulus! Been going mad with the pansies every where. Id best take a leaf out of WT's book and get me Fuchsia's in - they were "rescue" plants and I have nursed em back to health, be a shame to lose them to a freak cold spell ;D

Raining down here at the minute. Hope it holds off this evening as I'm going to the Emirates and don't fancy standing there in the rain...
