Hi Karlsass ... yup, all my nasturtiums are also still going strong, ditto malva, eccremarcarpus, solanum, dahlia, penstemon, marigolds, asters ... and a canna has just decided to send up a another flower spike. Fuchsias are still blooming like mad ...in fact the garden looks quite odd, with leaves falling on the lilac and blackcurrent, boston ivy completely red - and all this flower power ;D ... cheers ...

Oh lucky you having flowers on a canna, mine has thrown a right sulk and hardly even got any leaves this year - I think it just got too wet in the summer well I say summer ....... Its weird tho, some of my plants (hosta's etc) are dying back as usual, but I have a hellebore in flower in the front garden and summer bedding alongside it ! No wonder there are a lot of cold germs about - even nature cant work it out !!! Nice tho innit seeing all these flowers for longer than usual ;D

This is my oriental poppy bursting out today - I have had them flower again in September, but this is a first for mid-October - for me anyway!

Yes but is it not lovely to still be able to enjoy so many flowers? Mind you the trees are shedding their leaves at top speed now and only anuals are fanaticly in bloom. My autumn flowering garden Chrysanthemums are only just beginning. They are in general the last ones before winter.
